Relationship Talks
Part of Brave Talks
A local space in Cluj-Napoca for an honest, compassionate exploration of how we relate: to the people we love, to ourselves, to the substances that we use, to work. Together, we reflect on how connection can nourish us, how we can slip into disconection, developing dependence or codependency, and how we can find our way toward more secure, respectful relationships.
We believe that understanding our relationships begins with a brave conversation. Join us as we look, with curiosity and openness, at the patterns that shape how we connect: with one another, with ourselves, and with the habits or behaviours we sometimes turn to in search of comfort. This behaviours can quietly become compulsive. Together, we make room for honest reflection, without judgement.
01

Codependency & Relationships
Gently understanding the patterns that keep us stuck in sacrifice, and how we can build relationships rooted in mutual respect and clear boundaries. Together, we reflect on what it means to move from losing ourselves in others toward a secure sense of self within connection.
Moving from sacrifice toward mutual respect and fulfillment.

02
Addiction & Recovery
Exploring the human experience of struggle and the path toward reclaiming self-agency, rediscovering meaning and rebuilding life through community support. We take an open and compassionate look at the ways in which disconnection leads us to create adaptations that make us lose ourselves, our authenticity, our identity, and sometimes our vitality. Recovery is not just the absence of a substance or behavior, but the presence of connection.
Reclaming self-agency and authenticity through community.
03

Trauma & Its Impact
Acknowledging the quiet, lasting effects of trauma and finding ways to integrate these experiences into a meaningful narrative of self. We look at how trauma shapes our present connections and how to cultivate safety in our bodies and relationships.
Finding ways to integrate past experiences.

A little about me
I’m Loredana Pod, a psychotherapist specialising in complex trauma, addictions and codependency.
I co-founded Brave Talks because I believe some of the conversations we avoid most are the ones we most need space to have.
I want Brave Talks to be a space where we can truly meet each other, openly, honestly and without judgement.
Through these conversations, I hope we can become a little more curious about ourselves, each other and the experiences that shape the way we connect.
A little more about my work
My work spans clinical assessment, therapeutic interventions for adults and adolescents in my private practice, prevention programmes in schools, programmes for parents and professional trainings on addictions.
My core training is in CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), to which I have added over the years training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples, IFS (Internal Family Systems) and, most recently, NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model).
My role is to create space for people to explore these experiences with curiosity, compassion and without judgement.
My professional work is separate from Brave Talks. Brave Talks is a community initiative, not a therapy or counselling service.

A Community Space
Brave Talks is a community space, not therapy or counselling. We create space to sit with difficult experiences, reflect, and connect. If a conversation brings up something that feels difficult to hold on your own, professional support may be appropriate.
More resources coming soon
I’ll continue adding books, films, conversations, organisations and other resources that I find valuable and useful.
